The primary purpose of cabin air filter is to help clean the air that enters into your vehicle through the ventilation system, keeping the air inside your vehicle clean and fresh.

Location of this cabin filter: Passenger side under the hood. Tools: Phillips-head Screwdriver.

When you change your filter (maybe variant for your model. Please see the owner’s manual or find a local mechanic for exact instructions for the particular model):

Open the hood and located the battery cover on the passenger side of the vehicle.
Remove the cover by unlatching the spring clips securing the cover by turning them counter clockwise.
Remove the cabin filter cover that is located to the far passenger side next to the battery cover you just removed. Remove this cover by pulling it up and out.
Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the metal brace over the old filter.
Remove the old filter and insert your new cabin air filter.
Install remove parts by reversing the removal procedure and it’s done.
