FreshenOPT F-3209C (SETS)

The primary purpose of cabin air filter is to help clean the air that enters into your vehicle through the ventilation system, keeping the air inside your vehicle clean and fresh. Location of this cabin filter: Passenger side of the vehicle Under the foot well Tools: Screwdriver.

When you change your filter (maybe variant for your model. Please see the owner’s manual or find a local mechanic for exact instructions for the particular model):

Open the passenger side door and the filter housing is located under the foot well around the lower airbag unit.
The panel has the foot well light attached to it. There are 2 thumbs screws that you turn 90 degrees. Pull the panel slightly down in the front and pull it toward you as the rear has guide hooks it will release from.
Carefully disconnecting the plug to the footwell light and pull off the wire ring plug holding it to the panel.
Now you can see the cabin air filter housing.
Unscrew 2 torx bolts from the panel cover, pull the white rubber drain tube off the panel cover.
Pull the old 2 filters down from the housing and record the air flow direction.
Insert your new 2 cabin air filters into housing.
Install remove parts by reversing the removal procedure and it’s done.
