    The primary purpose of cabin air filter is to help clean the air that enters into your vehicle through the ventilation system, keeping the air inside your vehicle clean and fresh. 

    Location of this cabin filter: Passenger and driver side of the vehicle under two filter cover panels in the cowl vent screen Tools: None.

    When you change your filter (maybe variant for your model. Please see the owner’s manual or find a local mechanic for exact instructions for the particular model):

      1. Open the hood and locate the 2 filter covers on passenger side of the vehicle under 2 filter cover panels in the cowl vent screen.
      2. Unhook the wire latch located on the front of the filter cover by pulling forward.
      3. Lift opens the cover and carefully clean debris from the housing.
      4. Remove dirty filter and insert your new cabin air filter.
      5. Open the hood and locate the 2 filter covers on driver side of the vehicle under 2 filter cover panels in the cowl vent screen.
      6. Repeat step (2), (3), (4).
      7. Install remove parts by reversing the removal procedure.
      8. Close the hood and it’s done.
