The primary purpose of cabin air filter is to help clean the air that enters into your vehicle through the ventilation system, keeping the air inside your vehicle clean and fresh. Location of this cabin filter: Passenger side behind the glove box. Tools: Screw Driver.

When you change your filter (maybe variant for your model. Please see the owner’s manual or find a local mechanic for exact instructions for the particular model):

Open the glove box and check the service label on the glovebox door to see if your car is equipped with a cabin air filter.
Remove the three screws that are located at the lower edge of the glovebox.
Remove the two screws that are located at the upper edge of the glovebox.
Remove the screws from the latch springs and remove the screws securing them from the glovebox.
Now pull the glovebox from the dash and you will see the A/C housing.
Before putting down the glove box on the ground, make sure to disconnect the electric wires.
Open the A/C housing cover and pull out the old filter.
Install your new cabin air filter
Install remove parts by reversing the removal procedure. Close the glove box and it’s done.
