The primary purpose of cabin air filter is to help clean the air that enters into your vehicle through the ventilation system, keeping the air inside your vehicle clean and fresh. Location of this cabin filter: Passenger side of the vehicle under the glove box. Tools: Phillips-head screwdriver
When you change your filter (maybe variant for your model):
1. Open the passenger side door, remove the panel under the glove box by removing the three screws securing it and remove the panel. (Carefully disconnect any lighting wires that are attached to the panel).
2. Remove the cabin air filter’s cover by sliding the 2 locking tabs toward each other and pull the cover down and out.
3. Pull out 2 dirty filters.
4. Install the new filters.
5. Reinstall the cabin air filter cover and secure the locking tabs.
6. Reinstall the panel under the glove box (Make sure you hook up any lighting wires you may have disconnected form the panel). Secure it with the screws.
