Exchange, Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping at FreshenOPT.ca. We stand behind the quality of our products and want you to be completely satisfied. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help.


General Return & Exchange Policy

  • Products may be returned or exchanged within 7 days of the original purchase date.

  • Items must be unused, undamaged, and returned in their original packaging.

  • A new product can be exchanged for another item or returned for a refund.

Note:
No returns are accepted for online-exclusive accessories or special-order items.


Refund Timeline

  • Credit/Debit Card Payments: Refunded within 14 calendar days after receiving your return.

  • PayPal Payments: Refunded within 24–48 business days after receiving your return.


A/C Parts Warranty & Return Policy

  • Within 30 days of shipment:
    Defective A/C parts may be returned for a refund or exchange.

  • After 30 days and up to 1 year:
    Defective A/C parts may be returned for a refund only if a new replacement part is purchased.
    The replacement part will carry a new 1-year warranty.


Cabin & Engine Air Filter Exchanges

If you received the wrong model or a damaged item, please:

  • Do not open the packaging

  • Contact us immediately at support@freshenopt.ca

  • Or use the live chat icon in the bottom-right corner of our website

We’ll arrange an exchange as soon as possible.


Return Eligibility Checklist

To qualify for a return or exchange, please ensure:

  • The product was purchased within the last 30 days

  • It is unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging

  • You have proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation)

  • You have obtained a Return Number (RN) from us

Returns that do not meet these criteria will not be accepted.

To request a Return Number (RN):

Please send your return, along with the RN and proof of purchase, to:

Include a note stating whether you want a refund or exchange (and which item you’d like in exchange).


Return Shipping Costs

  • If the return is due to our error (e.g. incorrect or defective item), FreshenOPT will cover return shipping.

  • If returning for any other reason, you are responsible for return shipping costs and any risk of damage or loss during return transit.


Prepaid Return Shipping Labels

Once your return is approved, you will receive a prepaid return shipping label.
If the return is not due to our error, the return shipping cost will be deducted from your refund along with any applicable import fees.
The deduction amount equals our standard shipping cost for the item.


Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective:

  • Contact us immediately

  • We will prioritize your case and offer a replacement or refund as needed


Sale Items

  • Final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged.

  • Discount codes cannot be applied to sale items.
